Our history

A group of local residents founded the Acreage Athletic League in 1993. The group approached the Acreage Landowners Association (ALA) and asked for a donation. The ALA advised them to create a committee who later became the first Acreage Athletic League’s Executive Board of Directors. The ALA donated $500 toward the Acreage Athletic League. In 1993, AAL was designed to accommodate 200 children which currently has grown to represent over 2000 registered players. The AAL incorporated in April 1995.
